As for the PS3, the game will install as soon as it's put into the console, also taking up "roughly 8GB". It won't be taking advantage of Sony 's new 'play while downloading' feature, though for a

The Xbox 360 launched at the end of 2005; the PS3 roughly a year later (Europe had to wait until March 2007). Xbox 360 had a clear early lead, but following the launch of the PS3 Slim in 2009 9 Wii: It Took Risks. A lot of the reason the Wii did as well as it did was that the Wii wasn't afraid to take risks, while consoles like the Xbox 360 and the PS3 were more concerned with doing more of the same, rather than radically reformulating what it means to play a video game. Well d'oh, XBox 360 is from USA and PS3 is from Japan. Guess which gets more media attention in USA. And in Europe, you buy XBox 360 if you are a dumbass who does not want a bluray drive for some reason, and generally want shittier hardware and worse exclusives. I haven't seen a XBox 360 in person ever here in Finland, but PS3's are a plenty.
This gives the PS3 two distinct advantages, Blu-ray movies and Blu-ray games. Blu-ray Discs also hold more data, so the PS3 requires fewer discs for games. Most importantly, the PS3 supports 1080p video, upconverts regular DVDs to look better on your HDTV, and has an HDMI output port which is necessary for the highest quality HD signals. Along On Xbox One, Red Dead Redemption runs at a consistent 30 frames-per-second, while the original Xbox 360 game occasionally dipped into the mid-20s. It’s not a major difference, but a notable one And the hugely compelling Xbox Live service gets even better with Xbox 360. Sony has nothing like it: On the PS3, games are isolated islands of connectivity, allowing gamers only to communicate with others in the same games. And then there's the Nintendo Wii.
However, the Xbox 360 version of FXAA is more refined than its PS3 equivalent and this manifests in SSX via less pixel-popping/dot crawl than we see on the Sony platform.
Multiplats look better on the 360 because they are often made for the 360 and ported to the PS3. Exclusives are kind of hard to gauge since you can't really compare them side by side. But you could look at something like Forza And Gran Turismo and compare aspects of each.
yohmok • 2 yr. ago. Free online play, built-in blu-ray player, and a pretty good BC system (while it lasted). However, thinking back about it, the X360 should've been my go-to platform since it handled a lot of the multi-platform games slightly better and ran many action games better than the PS3. Shame about the YLOD and RROD for each system
The 360 generally run most multiplatform games better than PS3, often with higher resolution, since PS3 was hampered by being difficult to code for and worse RAM. This is most apparent in games like Orange Box, Skyrim, and Bayonetta.

So yes the Switch is stronger than Wii U, PS3 and 360 there are things that those other systems could be better at than Switch. Like wise there are things The Switch is better at than PS4 and XboxOne even though it is out powered by those systems. Its up to the developers to take advantage of the strengths of a system to get these games to work.

Ushering in the age of the social gamer, by giving us a way to play together, communicate with one another, and the world at large. Seamless play with an interface that made the future we were gaming in comfortable.

The Xbox 360’s GPU packs a little more punch than Sony’s PS3… The Playstation 4 and Xbox 720 are getting ever closer to launch, but while we’re waiting for more news on specs (especially the xbox, since right now we’re completely in the dark apart from a supposed 2011 spec leak) we might as well entertain ourselves by thinking of days past.

The position of the thumbsticks are great too, they just make more sense than having them in the style of the 360 controller. xbox 360 controller has a terrible dpad and digital buttons. the rest of it is decent though. ps3 controller seems fine, but some people dont like the stick layout.
All of the advantages listed in this section are over Xbox 360. The PS3 generally has a slightly better frame rate, sharper textures, better contrast, better at handling the world as it streams BMison • 5 yr. ago. 06 for PS3. 360 for Unleashed. Alternative_Crow_315 • 2 yr. ago. Sonic 06 is even worse than the xbox 360 version. It should only run at 30 FPS but it has soo many framedrops/slow downs that it makes it really annoying to play. The 360 version just works fine in smooth 60 FPS.
The Xbox 360 didn't win the console war, the PS3 did! It's a true underdog story. PlayStation 3 launched in Europe some 14 months after Xbox 360 in March 2007, delayed by a shortage of diodes used
